A Raleigh County man has admitted to a federal drug offense involving methamphetamine. Jeremy Dale Shuck, 47, of Coal City, pleaded guilty to distributing five grams or more of methamphetamine.
Court records indicate that on July 16, 2024, Shuck sold about 13.92 grams of methamphetamine for $200 to a confidential informant at a service station parking lot in Beaver. He acknowledged the transaction during his plea hearing.
Shuck is set for sentencing on January 23, 2026. He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years and up to forty years in prison. Additionally, he could receive at least four years of supervised release and be fined up to $5 million.

The hearing was overseen by United States Magistrate Judge Omar J. Aboulhosn. Assistant United States Attorney Brian D. Parsons and former Assistant United States Attorney Andrew D. Isabell prosecuted the case.
This prosecution falls under Operation Take Back America, which coordinates resources from several Department of Justice programs including the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) and Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), with aims such as disrupting cartels and protecting communities from violent crime.
