Ronald Robinson, 55, from Parkersburg, has been sentenced to eight years and six months in federal prison followed by five years of supervised release for distributing methamphetamine and violating the terms of his supervised release.
Court documents state that on October 15, 2024, Robinson sold methamphetamine to an individual in Parkersburg. He admitted in his plea agreement to this sale and to two additional sales of methamphetamine during October 2024, all taking place in Parkersburg.
Law enforcement executed a search warrant on October 16, 2024, at a motel room where Robinson was staying. Officers found approximately 40 grams of methamphetamine and about seven grams of a mixture containing both methamphetamine and fentanyl. Authorities also seized $501, including money previously used in controlled drug purchases.

On March 28, 2017, he was convicted for conspiracy related to heroin distribution. Both cases were handled by the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Four years of his current sentence are attributed to committing a new crime while under supervised release.
