Brady McKinley, a 46-year-old resident of Adena, Ohio, has pleaded guilty to conspiring with others to distribute illegal drugs in the upper Ohio Valley. According to information presented in court, McKinley collaborated with several individuals to sell significant amounts of fentanyl and cocaine in Ohio County and surrounding areas.
McKinley could be sentenced to up to 20 years in federal prison. The final sentence will be determined by a federal district court judge, who will take into account the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other relevant factors.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Carly Nogay is leading the prosecution for the government. The investigation involved multiple agencies, including the Ohio Valley Drug Task Force, Marshall County Drug Task Force, Hancock-Brooke-Weirton Drug Task Force (all HIDTA-funded), as well as the Drug Enforcement Administration, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, West Virginia State Police, Wheeling Police Department, Ohio County Sheriff’s Office, and Belmont County Sheriff’s Office.
The case was overseen by U.S. Magistrate Judge James P. Mazzone.
