Deontre Christian Johnson, 25, from Wheeling, West Virginia, has admitted to distributing fentanyl in Ohio County. Court documents reveal that Johnson, also known as “Trap,” was involved in selling fentanyl on Wheeling Island.

Johnson could face up to 20 years in prison. A federal district court judge will determine the sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Clayton Reid is prosecuting the case for the government. The investigation was conducted by the Ohio Valley Drug Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative. U.S. Magistrate Judge James P. Mazzone presided over the case.
