Marion County man sentenced to over 12 years for drug and gun charges

Vincent Irving Jones, 34, of Fairmont, West Virginia, received a sentence of 151 months in federal prison for methamphetamine and firearm offenses. The sentencing took place in Clarksburg.

Court documents and statements presented during the proceedings showed that Jones was found with methamphetamine and a pistol in Marion County. Due to multiple prior felony convictions, Jones was prohibited from possessing firearms.

The prosecution was led by Assistant U.S. Attorney Will Rhee. The investigation involved the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives along with the Fairmont Police Department.

Chief U.S. District Judge Thomas S. Kleeh presided over the case.
