Huntington woman pleads guilty to federal fentanyl and crack distribution charges

Tina Marie Dixon, a 52-year-old resident of Huntington, pleaded guilty on January 6, 2026, to possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and cocaine base, commonly known as crack. The plea was entered in the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.

According to information presented in court, law enforcement executed a search warrant on March 25, 2026, at a garage structure behind Dixon’s residence. During the operation, Dixon consented to a search of her bedroom. Officers found 37.1 grams of a substance containing fentanyl and 2.7 grams of crack in her bedroom. They also discovered $18,984 in cash during the search.

Dixon admitted that when officers arrived to execute the warrant for the garage structure, they observed her distributing an amount of crack to an individual outside her home.

She is scheduled for sentencing on April 13, 2026. She faces up to 20 years in prison, at least three years of supervised release, and a fine that could reach $1 million.

United States Attorney Moore Capito announced the plea and acknowledged the investigative efforts by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) along with the Huntington Police Department.

The hearing was overseen by United States District Judge Robert C. Chamber. Assistant United States Attorney Lesley C. Shamblin is handling prosecution duties for this case.
