Marcus Allen Johnson, also known as “Mook,” 40, of Huntington, pleaded guilty to distributing fentanyl. According to court documents and statements made in court, Johnson sold about 53.76 grams of a mixture containing fentanyl to a confidential informant on January 14, 2025. The sale took place in the informant’s vehicle parked on 10th Avenue in Huntington. As part of his plea, Johnson admitted to arranging and conducting the transaction.
Johnson is scheduled for sentencing on December 8, 2025. He faces up to 20 years in prison, at least three years of supervised release, and a possible fine of $1 million.

United States District Judge Robert C. Chambers presided over the hearing. Assistant United States Attorney Joseph F. Adams is prosecuting the case.
The prosecution was conducted under Operation Synthetic Opioid Surge (SOS), which aims to reduce synthetic opioid supply in areas with high impact.
