Huntington man pleads guilty to fentanyl distribution charge

Alante Omar Allen, also known as “Suey,” has pleaded guilty to distributing fentanyl in Huntington, West Virginia. According to information presented in court, Allen sold about 20.5 grams of fentanyl to a confidential informant for $1,300 on August 31, 2022. The transaction took place at a business located on U.S. Route 60 in Huntington. Allen admitted to arranging and conducting the sale.

Allen’s sentencing is set for May 26, 2026. He could face up to 20 years in prison, a minimum of three years of supervised release, and a fine that may reach $1 million.

United States Attorney Moore Capito announced the plea and acknowledged the efforts of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office in investigating the case.

The hearing was overseen by United States District Judge Robert C. Chambers. Assistant United States Attorney Joseph F. Adams is prosecuting the case.
