Darrelle Davon Boynton, also known as “D,” age 40, of Huntington, has pleaded guilty to federal drug charges. Court records show that on April 23, 2025, Boynton sold about 56 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant in a parking lot in Huntington. He admitted to arranging and conducting the sale.
As part of his plea agreement, Boynton also admitted to selling approximately 57 grams of methamphetamine on April 29, 2025, and about 8.32 grams of heroin mixed with fentanyl on May 8, 2025. Each transaction was made to a confidential informant in Huntington.
Boynton is set for sentencing on January 12, 2026. He could face up to 20 years in prison, at least three years of supervised release, and a fine reaching $1 million.
At the time these offenses occurred, Boynton was already under supervised release after pleading guilty in August 2020 to distributing heroin and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon in United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.
