Timothy D. Luckett, also known as “Fetty” and “Jack Boi,” of Detroit, Michigan, pleaded guilty in federal court to possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine and a quantity of fentanyl. The plea was entered on August 19, 2025.

According to information presented in court, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at a Rotary Road residence in Huntington on May 21, 2025. Officers found approximately 454 grams of methamphetamine on one digital scale and about 2.5 grams of fentanyl on another scale in the kitchen. Additionally, they discovered around 50 grams of fentanyl in a backpack. Under a dresser, authorities located three loaded firearms: a Ruger .45-caliber pistol, a Sig Sauer Mosquito .22-caliber pistol, and a Feather Industries .22-caliber rifle, along with ammunition. Police also seized $7,278 from the residence and $380 from Luckett’s person during the search.

Luckett admitted that he used the residence for storing and distributing controlled substances and acknowledged that the cash found was proceeds from his drug distribution activities. He further admitted to selling approximately 7.6 grams of fentanyl to a confidential informant in Huntington for $800 on November 8, 2023.

Luckett is scheduled for sentencing on December 8, 2025. He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of ten years and up to life imprisonment, at least five years of supervised release, and a fine that could reach $10 million.

“Acting United States Attorney Lisa G. Johnston made the announcement and commended the investigative work of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office.”

United States District Judge Robert C. Chambers presided over the hearing. Assistant United States Attorney Courtney L. Finney is prosecuting the case.
